2020.09 Intro to Paddling Classes

There are numerous ways to enjoy the summer in the Ottawa city, and paddling is one of those that are highly attractive but meanwhile a little intimidating for new comers. Fortunately, as ISC members we had the opportunity to get an paddling introduction class, courtesy to the guest speaker of our previous workshop, Beirong Xiong.

In late August and early September, Beirong and her husband, David, generously invited 2 small groups of ISC members to her water front property in Manotick, where she taught the members about safety measures and paddling basics, and offered a variety of boats for members to try. To all members attended, it was truly a beautiful experience to enjoy a summer day on the peaceful river with many like-minded ladies.
